Cracka Commish Runs the Table in Year One

The inaugural FL/NY Gents season belonged to the Commish. Drew Tannenbaum's Cracka Commish #CTESPN finished the regular season 9-5 as the 4-seed, then bulldozed through the playoffs — beating Gio Miele, then Evan Keyser (who came in off a first-round bye), and finally Luis Torres in succession to claim the first-ever FL/NY Gents title. Not a bad way to christen the league you run.

The regular season had its own story. Evan Keyser's Dicker Boutte put up the best record in the league at 12-4, and Logan Hill's Team Generalbooty21 led everyone in scoring at 251.30 PPG despite finishing a pedestrian 8-8 — proof that points don't always translate to wins. Luis Torres was the quiet 11-6 team nobody wanted to play, going on to knock off both Logan and Tyler Hill in the playoffs before running into Drew's buzzsaw in the final stretch and finishing runner-up.

Then there was the losers bracket, which was a full-blown dumpster fire from Week 15 on. Alex Lawson, Joey Trippeda, Jason Azif, and Sterling Valentine spent the "playoffs" fighting over who sucked the least, and somehow it was still more competitive than half the actual bracket. Joey came out on top of absolutely nothing — he finished the gauntlet as the inaugural Toilet Bowl Champion, which means out of all ten teams in this league, Joey finished dead last. Not lost in the semis, not bounced early — the actual bottom. He didn't just miss the playoffs, he won the tournament for people who missed the playoffs the hardest. A truly special kind of failure, and he'll be hearing about it until he wins an actual championship, which at this rate could be a while.

Jason Azif's Bo Nix, Mo Dix finished 3-13 with the league's worst scoring output (171.1 PPG) and lands on the inaugural Wall of Shame — a fitting cherry on top of a season that was, charitably, an unmitigated disaster.

The strangest storyline belonged to a manager who isn't walking through that door in 2026. Alex Lawson's PantyDroppa went 5-9, landed in the losers bracket alongside Joey, Jason, and Sterling, and then proceeded to make exactly zero waiver moves the entire year. Not one add. Not one drop. His team just sat there and died like he didn't give a fuck — because he didn't. He got quietly shown the door, and Peyton Vilardi steps in for 2026.

Quest for the throne resumes 2026. One ring is out there. Nine other managers want it. Drew's not walking away from his easily.
